Page 1: Install The Cable Modem (or other device) and to the Ethernet port on the rear of your SB6141. First, try connecting your computer DIRECTLY to the modem, and connecting it up to the cable. Let it sync up, and wait until it stays connected for a few minutes (it's normal for it to go into a firmware update or two the first time it connects.) Open up a browser and try to go somewhere. To Install SB6141. Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the cable outlet or splitter. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the cable connector on the SB6141. Plug the power cord into the power connector on the SB6141. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.
